This first image is my friend Steve's Uncle Gordon (Gordon McCleer, of McLeer Interiors) when he was a young lad in his teen years. Gordon is still an avid sailor and now gets to share his passion with his grandchildren.
The original is a badly creased B&W photograph measuring about 1" x 2". After the repair work, I adjusted the color balance to resemble and old sepia toned photograph and then made an archival framed print about 5" x 7".

This next image is of Kim Adlerman (as a baby of course), a very accomplished childrens' book designer and illustrator, with whom I've worked for many years now. You can learn more about her and her books at the Danny And Kim website.
This originial was basically just very old and discolored. It has the added challenge of trying to remove the chemical spots which just happen to be right through the face area. We kept the overall tone of the corrected image a warm black and white to preserve that aged feel to the image.
